Stillness and Zen-sation, the feeling of total harmony between you and everything around you, allowing and flowing,
gentle and soft, yet very present and passionately alive.

Connections and detachment

Our world is one of connections. Through connections we are bound - consciously and unconsciously – to a wide variety of things, places and people. All these connections influence our beingness, all of them. Some make us feel good, other bad, others influence us without knowing.

The setting of the houses has an influence, what you eat and drink, with whom you interact of live with. The house you step into has an influence, the company you work in, the chair you sit on, the surrounding you are in, the book that you read, the stars that you see.
Everything and everyone, that lives in your world, has an influence on you. Most people are intuitively aware of this, however they are unaware that the connections have much more influence than they think. They think usually they are separate from all that. That is not the case.
Beyond the things that we are attached to, the most influential strings are the ones that come from our personal attachment to people. The way you are attached to others, is so influential that you might immediately feel very different when just thinking about that other person. It is important to note that – without knowledge around this – a person is very much influenced at all times.

Once one understands the impact of all outer influences, one can take the attitude of neutral detachment. It is in this neutral detachment of all things, that one becomes a person of stillness from within.
The storms of the world are still there, however the effects are minimized as much as possible, and trouble water becomes clear water.
When a person gets emotional, you will not be pulled into the same emotion and stay clear from the effects, however still compassionate about people. It is in this compassion that one finds that he is always connected to others, he becomes the other and then he becomes all.
